My fantastic Phones4U experience !
Been with orange for 7 years and was 4 months into my next year.
I really wanted to change my tariff as I was making loads of calls in the day and I was on an offpeak tariff, but orange were unable to offer me anything decent being part way through my contract.
So Off I went to phones4u, determined that I wanted the T-mobile flex35 tariff whic gives you £180 of calls and texts a months.. they talked me out of it and convinced me to go to 3.
I came away with a Nokia N73, 18 months 3 contract, 6 months half price line rental at £22,50 double mins and txts for first 6 months (1200mins, 400txts) and £90 cash.. to technically bring my tariff down to £37.50 a month after the first 6 months are over.
Well.... I thought that was ok, but on hunting further, found that 3 were offering a Nokia 6280 half price for the full 18 months (£22.50).
So went back to phons4u to cancel my contract and they were determined not to let me go, so said they would bring my contract down to 15 months (with the option to upgrade at 13) instead of 18, AND gave me a further £112.50. to make the entire contract £22.50 a month.
Was well chuffed with that especially coz i got to keep my N73...
Oh by the way, bought out of my contract with orange for £129.04 and sold my sony W810i for £125, so that was good too !
