getting no service on new orange phone

Well good luck with that. I tried buying an Orange PAYG phone a while back. Spent several phone calls trying to get the phone activated and then loads more trying to get my £10 credit. It never arrived so I emailed them to explain the problem and asked if I could send the whole lot back. They sent me a prepaid bag to send it back and then only refunded me for the phone and not for the credit I never received!!! Several emails and a recorded delivery letter of complaint later I FINALLY got my refund.
The whole saga took months and I will never buy from Orange again.0 -

OMG you wern't kidding we're you, i've lost count of how many times iv'e phoned orange this morning, we keep getting disconnected for some reason
so ive emailed them and hopefully should receive the prepaid bag this week0 -
Orange is quite frankly a bag of bollox lately. In my town in order to make and receive calls I have to manually set my phone to GSM even though I've got a full 3G signal. Internet surfing is diabolical compared to my 3 dongle.
I spent from the mid 90's to the mid naughties on orange and changed to 3 and was with them until last year. Went back to orange because they had a better package. Wish I'd not bothered. Now trying to get out of the remainder of a 2 year contract.0
