I do lightspeed, yougov and itsyourview... Never had junk mail off any of them and no survey ever asks my address (just postcode sometimes which is for demographic reasons)
itsyourview has been down for me for a week or so, can anyone else login? Did a survey tonight and am sure I am on about £50 (2nd time, first time was last summer and they paid me by cheque promptly).Nothing to see here...0 -
Have just logged in. If you use the log in at the left hand side you can usually log in successfully.
Good luck0 -
Page loads, all looks well (except banner missing from base of login screen) but I can't login... just freezes.
Can anyone else get in there~?Nothing to see here...0 -
Managed to get on... just hit login repeatedly every 10 seconds for about 2 minutes (so I didn't get tiimed out) and eventually logged in.Nothing to see here...0

I hate it when the site wastes 5 minutes or more then says you do not qualify.
As others have said above in this thread, I also suspect they have got the information the survey sponsor wanted, and are just cheating us out of the money.
As soon as Greenfield took over Ciao I knew it would be complained about as a scam, they do not have a good reputation. I just delete most survey invitations from Ciao now, unless I guess there is a reasonable chance of not being rejected near the end.
I have to say I have managed to get a couple of surveys done and gradually the account is creeping up past the half way mark to the £5 payout. But it is a far cry from the good old days when the surveys were an integral part of the consumer review function that Ciao started with. More chance of reaching payout then, so I treat with cynicism the reason that Greenfield chopped the survey side out, makes it more difficult to reach payout on both sites now, so saving them money when people resign (before getting paid) because they finally realise they are being had.
Itsyourview is almost as bad for time wasting, I cannot recall doing more then the first joining survey right to the end for "£1", which if we never get any further paying surveys, will never be able to be claimed as it is under thepayout threshold of course.
To update my own post, possibly not in the way the Mods would like (if so delete it or edit as you wish).
I resigned from Ciao for this reason recently, once they had paid my £5.
I resigned from ItsYourView a while back for this and another reason, then found TOPCASHBACK from Martin's excellent orticle on Cash Back sites.
On TopCashBack I found ItsYourView, and if you join (I did not, but we come to that later) you get £1.05 (supposedly, hardly anyone seems to be able to be classed as a new member from the comments).
If you are lucky to get to the end of a survey you get £0.70.
If you are not lucky enough to qualify for a survey, you get £0.01 (1 pence).
I have left a comment that this means that at least 30 pence a month is up for grabs, and if you get one or 2 surveys a month as I have done, you get £1.70 in that month.
I do not remember joining again, just took the surveys.
My point being, if it tracks, even though 1 pence a day or 30 pence a month may be pathetinc in most people's eyes, at least it means they beggers are coughing up something for the failed surveys by doing it this way!!!
Worryingly, although I got to the end of another survey over the Bank Holiday, TCB do not show it, nor the failed survey attempts either, over the last 3 days.
If this is true of others then perhaps it is not worth thinking about as a way of getting compensation for failed surveys.
There is more info on cashback and TopCashBack in particular on my profile website URL for those interested.0 -
I can't log in, I wanted to see how much I had got because it was getting near the £50 but it keeps saying log in failed, although I haven't changed my password or email address. I have emailed them but had no answerPenny Pinching Pauline0

Have you tried logging in from the left-hand menu? That usually works for me. My balance has been at £15 forever!
Good luck0 -
I have been with It's Your view for over 2 years now - still have yet to reach a £50 payout! I have been on 49 points since March - and I haven't had a survey invitation since then! Anyone else find it highly suspicious that when you are just about to hit payout, they go quite silent ....
