I mean, the people on here surely weren't buying hundreds of things, like I got 4 things for each of the 4 adults in my household... But I read and buy NOTW and saw the actual print of it, as did the other 3 people who live here... and I probably would have told at least 5 people at work about it if I was in at work today, who then would have probably done the same...

I think it's just first come first served, and yes - its unfortunate you missed out... However I think that someone getting 2, 3, or 5 things isn't greedy... 10, 20, 30, yes maybe, but not a couple of things.

Plenty a time I have kicked myself for JUST missing out on an offer as it closes... and I understand it must make you feel angry. But we're not bad people!

Didn't do this myself, but got to say I've been ordering from m & m over the last 3 years and have always found them fantastic, you can get 3% from Quidco and themutual affiliates with them too.

I think something to remember is that even if everybody that had read this thread only applied for one freebie, (10,000 + ?)there are still thousands of lurkers, added to that the various other newsgroups/message boards from allsorts of communities that have the info, let alone readers of notw aswell !

Great promotion by M and M, I just hope the pickers and packers get bonuses

Its just sour grapes.

Notice how its the people who DIDN'T get anything who do all the complaining.

has always been rude on boards - and THEY are greedy. Filling up the Coke Code's board with begging for people to pm him codes. And not being thankful when they do.

I agree its rude, i first saw the voucher advertised on HotUKDeals, then here then on Bobs free stuff and then ironically my dad called me and mentioned it in the paper as he knows what im like for my freebies... so the voucher is everywhere-its not just people on here who have used it! so its not there fault you didnt get to use it!

I personally bought a French Connection Watch for OH for christmas so the five pound discount took it down to £25 which is an utter bargain.,.. so i still spent money with the company.

They are a great company and this has been an amazing promotion.

EXACTLY - SEE!

The people on this board who bought things are NOT the ONLY REASON people missed out!

Codes like this get shared and passed about like nothing else and nothing would be able to stop them - hence the reason for websites like these, and MSE, even exist...

Next time the people who missed out might get a better deal... Next time people who got 2, 3, 5, 7, however many items might not get ANY.

Its just life! Chance, luck, loopholes, tight squeezes, lucky breaks and the one that got away... It all happens with promotions like this...

Just remember as well, that the person you are slagging off in THIS post might be the person who posts the NEXT GREAT DEAL that YOU take up!
