Htc hero, 3 identical faults

Hi there
ive been on contract with orange since '97, i have had the same touchscreen issue with my hero over the last 3 months and have had 3 replacement handsets (all heros) any idea WHAT PHONE they should offer me if i get the same fault again ???
Apparently they call it DRM different replacement model after 3 same faults ?? any help would be great :-)

The system will prompt them with 3 different handsets one at a time. You reject a, it moves on to b ect. They can't (or couldn't when I was on the phones) go back a step.

It'll offer you phones of the same or similar spec, price isn't a factor.

Great thanks, so strictly speaking a Desire is a good alternative in terms of similar spec to the HTC ?

I don't know what the current script says. The Desire maybe a bit over spec against the Hero?
You won't know unless it goes wrong again !
