Free O2 sim cards - Question????

I got one of these a few months ago, and find I'm using less than £10 on calls a month - and building up a big credit.

I need to keep topping it up to get the free 300 texts - which I do use.

I know there is a technique to fool the phone into thinking it's been topped up - I'm pretty sure it's been posted by an MSE'er, but I can't find it now. Could anyone either re-post it or PM me some details?

I would say that fooling a O2 to thinking the phone was topped up would be in against the terms and conditions of using their service. At worst it may be illegal, so I think it would be best not discussed here unless we have clarification on the issue
