O2 Contract Freeze

Hi does anyone know what options I have for freezing my O2 mobile phone? I'm currently on a Small business Frequent User tarrif and will be going traveling around the world for 9 months. I have 10 months of my 24 month contract left.

I would ideally like to just freeze the contract and then pick it up when I get back as will need it for my business.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Alex

Generally you can't freeze any account. It is a contract for a minimum continuous period, after all.
Usually, the only exception would be for service personnel who are unexpectedly transferred to a theatre of war. The handset and SIM would be blocked for the duration.
That doesn't mean you cant contact them to see what can be done. My gut feeling is that taking time off for world travel would not be sufficient reason.
