    Morning all,

Hooray for the miners finally being rescued :j:j,fingers crossed and prays said that they dont encounter any problems in the next 24 hours, lets hope they manage to get them all home safe and sound!!

Guess what...its cold here. Dark grey clouds are covering the sky but the last few days have seen the sun break through for the afternoon so you never know!
Breakfast dishes done,DD at school and pooch walked. Just had my credit card bill through, not bad considering i started christmas shopping. Im hoping to only need a food shop in Dec. Also had a letter saying i've won a digital camera!! :D i already have 1 so a spare would be wonderful! I have defo won it and all i need to do is send a SAE for the label...no calls to be made no payment for delivery etc etc just the cost of a stamp!

Freezer raid this morning,im running low on stock :o should be ok for at least a week,2 if i really bulk out plates with salad/veggies/bread and butter.Although i will have to serve up chips and fish fingers a couple of times...or four!!
HM lasange with HM potato wedges for tea. Need to have a good old nose through this site and find some different meals to freeze up. I do the same things because 1-i know how to make them and make them well 2-i know they freeze/keep well 3-i know DD will eat them. But im getting slightly bored so looking to shake things up a bit!

Hugs to all who need or want them x

Yeah i think it should be. My freezer went off for about 13 hours last week and the food was / is fine. Just when you go to take to take something out, just keep an eye on it.

Say chicken, sniff and see its okay, if its not then chuck it out.

    Morning.

I too, am up watching the miners coming out this morning. There is one being interviewed just now and its really very touching, I have tears pouring down my face. How nice to see it coming to a satisfactory conclusion, I hope they all get up safely.

My wee dog keeps climbing onto my knee to go for a sleep, I have been putting her back off, but she comes back five minutes later, she's up a bit earlier than normal and is letting me know it!!! I think I'll let her stay this time.:)
Aww, bless her, she was probably concerned for you if you were sitting there crying.:o My little Penny-Dog always knew when I was really hurting, even though I hid it well from all humans, and would come and sit on my lap, or sit beside me on the sofa and press up close.

I've been following the miners'progress as best I can (we only have the radio on for the news 1st thing in the morning); just tried online, but I can't find anything more up to date, so fingers remaining firmly crossed that they get them all out OK.

Redruby I never knew that about kiwi fruit being good for mouth ulcers - I'll try it with the next batch I get, thanks!
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Im sat watching the miners whilst DS2 has a nap.

Its been really cold here today, put the boys fleeces in their 3 in 1 coats as they had just been wearing the waterproof. Ive put the electric heater on the front room as I am very nesh and very cold!

HM shep pie for tea so the oven should help the place warm up a little.

    Take care everyone xx

Didn't go out with the boys, too cold and too much laundry to do, we'll go tomorrow instead.

Brace yourselves, I have finally cleaned the nailpolish off, and am about to wax my eyebrows. I am not up to going to the salon for that, yet, and its much more MSE to do it myself. :D

    Afternoon everyone

Had quite a busy day, weather ok here but not sunny. Took pup for a walk, he is such a coward even a pram going past scared him. Went to craft club this morning have nearly finished my door stop at last. Also went to visit the primary school where I have got the interview tomorrow. Iwould really like to get the job there, it seems such a friendly place and hours fit in with ds2 school hours.

Os today beef curry in slow cooker, DW been on. Bedding changed. Floors mopped too.

Going to high school open evening tonight with ds2, the senco at his school keeps mentioning this one as has a good sized special needs dept, we shall see tonight. Got part of report from ed psych his comprehension is average, but Reading and writing levels are approx 5 years behind. JackieG - thanks for your input, we do have a trampoline which ds2 does use, will have a look at the dore website.

Well better start homework with ds2, battle will commence shortly. Enjoy the rest if your day. Hugs to anyone that needs wants one. Take care.

    Lynne
  • Good luck for tomorrow Lynne. do have a look at their website, I found it fascinating, and if DS hadn't been making any progress, we would definitely have found the money to try them out.x
