Doesn't matter which BB provider you use they'll be equally as rubbish most likely. As someone else says BT own equipment exchange are overloaded I have the exact same problem in my area. In a mainly student city.Internet fine over the summer then all the students turn up and bang bye bye internet..0

i can say without a shadow of a doubt that mine is faster with BT than TT. i dont know why. though i do suspect the router TT give you is rubbish compared to the BT Home Hub, cos the wireless internet on my laptop is like dial up with TT but it was fine with BTIf you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all

Tried that. It wouldnt work at all. which is weird because TT started supplying me 2 days before I realised and I was still using the BT router. i didnt notice any change in speed. I foolishly then installed the TT router and have had probs ever since. Tried to reinstall the BT one and for some reason it wouldnt work at all. But I could try again.
I get a stronger wifi signal from my next door neighbours BT Hub thru the wall, then I do from my TT router in the same room!!! :eek:If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all

You should complain to Otelo, the correct ombudsman for TalkTalk, you will need to send a recorded delivery letter to TalkTalk with your complaint and your request to cancel without penalty, it MUST be recorded delivery or special delivery!
Then if they do not resolve it to your satisfaction complain to Otelo after six weeks is up.
I might also seek a small amount of compensation for the problems.
You can find Otelo online at:
http://www.otelo.org.uk/
Hope this helps. I also have problems with TalkTalk who seem to have employed all the problem staff from Tiscali and their service has plummeted. I am also seeking to leave without penalty. Never had one correct bill or correct payment amount taken since I joined, awful bunch.0 -
