Virginmedia + Freeview?

I currently subscribe to Virginmedia and have digital tv with them. One of my favourite channels, Create and Craft tv, isn't available with Virginmedia, but I've noticed I could view it through Freeview.
My question (please be gentle with me - I'm not at all 'techie') is: Would it be possible to connect a freeview box alongside my virginmedia set top box? I want to retain my Virginmedia digital tv as there are channels available that aren't on Freeview.
I hope that makes sense!
thanks
Pam

Yes it's possible. The only issue could be whether you have another SCART socket on the TV for the Freeview box?
I don't have VM, but I presume it uses a SCART to connect to your TV?Dave. :wave:0 -
Yes the box has at least 1 scart socket0

Thanks for your replies and yes, there is another scart socket. Is it a simple matter of plugging in the Freeview box, or isn't it that simple? Still, now I know it is possible, I can get some help with it.
Many thanks!

Obviously you need to plug your aerial coax into the Freeview box and then the SCART connection between it and the TV.
Have you ever tried your Freeview reception before to see if your aerial's OK?Dave. :wave:0
