Does anyone know anything about digital TV in Spain?

We need to buy a new TV for our house in Spain. We have just realised that the last one hasn't broken but that the analogue signal has been switched off (we visit infrequently). What we want to know is if we buy a flat screen TV from Eroski will we also need a new aeriel fitted as well or will the old one which has been there for about 15 years still do the job?
Also, any ideas of cost of supplying and fitting a new aeriel if we do need one? Thanks

Not sure where in Spain your property is located, but in the region of Spain where my second home is, TV Aerials have all been turned through 90 degrees to get digital TV, ie they have been polarized to horizontal from vertical.

A DIY job if your aerial is accessible.

Best to look at other aerials in your locality.

Or you could just but the Spanish equivalent of a Freeview box to use with your old analogue TV.

Indeed, they are called TDT Receivers in Spain.;)
