New Contract with Vodafone. Cancelled?

Hey,
I dont know if you any of you would have any advice for me...
My partner took a contract out with vodafone at the beginning of August. He cancelled the order online before the phone was sent out.
Anyway the phone ended up being delivered. Numerous emails have been sent to vodafone to collect the phone how ever he has had no response back. They also havent tried taking any money out of his account.
I was just wondering do you think if they havent taken any money, havent replied and its been over 2 months now that he could get the phone unlocked and keep it maybe? Its been sitting in the box for ages.
Seems a little strange that they havent taken the direct debit and havent replied. Maybe the contract was cancelled but they didn't realise the phone had been sent.
Thanks x

Hi babymumbles,
Admittedly this does seem rather strange but I'm sure we can this sorted out for you and your partner if it hasn't already.
Should they still require some assistance with this they're welcome to email us the details via the Contact us form on our website here quoting the code WRT135 in the subject line.
When the automated reply arrives in your inbox could you update the thread with the reference number so we can make sure it reaches us and we'll get back to them as soon as possible?
Thanks,
Lee
