Tenmah I think you have probably done the very very best thing there...your daughter knows the truth and thats important. Ive always been honest and dd knows daddy doesn't have a job or any money at the moment. Anyway he could be creative and do something like take a nice picture of them together get it framed for a few £'s and give it to her...wouldn't cost him anything and she would really really appreciate it. There are many things he could do but thats up to him, he's just always been the grand gesture type (after all he spent £150 on her birthday!!)
See you do know where he is coming from - WELL DONE xx:j I belong to Mike's Mob :j0 -

Okay....I think im just too nice! I don't like to see him or her go without. Actually tbh I shall probably have to fund the trip up to his for B in half term. I guess I think that ive ended up with everything from our house (although I said he could take whatever he wanted) so feel a bit guilty he's got nothing
May I just remind you that HE is the one who lied and cheated to get it all his own way? You can't take responsibility for his lack of maturity. If there is no present from him just tell her it is because he has no money because he's not working. She will draw her own conclusions as to what kind of father she's got. I'm with Tenmah - don't be derogatory about him, but don't give him a gloss he doesn't deserve so when she has the maturity to fully understand what type of man he is there is no unnecessary pain.26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

It depends Ten on whether you think they think she is pulling the wool. Or are they genuinely concerned. Also I think (think) under employment law they are allowed to make contact and also can visit. Am sure someone will correct me here
xx Hope she gets better soon though xx
I am pretty sure they don't think she is putting it on, because they know her condition - she has a chronic pain condition and chronic fatigue syndrome -but he seems to ring a lot and I am sure he is just being kind but it is a bit annoying, particularly when he wakes her up!!OD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j

okay whats your opinion
I sold B's old cot and got a lot of money for it (with the intension of using it to buy christmas present and some winter boots for her), ex is still waiting for his JSA and Is living off fresh air. So do you think I should give him some money from it so that he can buy her some presents for christmas, would he be offended? Im obviously having to support and pay for everything at the moment because he's giving me no money but equally as he initially paid out for it I feel like he should maybe get a bit of it
Opinions?
Definite NO Saly from me.
Buy the boots and say it is from him by all means if it helps you but you must think of B and yourself first I'm afraid.0 -

That's good in one way - maybe you could suggest that you will ring in a couple of days to update them rather than wait until the end of the week. Does she do a job that they need to get cover for and therefore knowing in advance when she is likely to return is advantageous for them. Perhaps you could politely tell him that the phone wakes her. Deeps breaths Red, maybe go for a walk at lunchtime? Walking solves a wide manner of frustrations and clears the head big time!0

Been for a walk - lovely out there - and bought myself some hair dye (well, free with Boots points). As well as being all stressed I really need a hair cut and to sort my roots out! I have a lovely spotty face to go with it too.. sigh!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0
