Morning all :hello:

Feeling a little tender after last night's exertions but in a good way:D Have lined up a double of level 2/3 tonight as I felt I could have done more last night...

Got my beads out too and thanks to Claire for the suggestion to look at Bead Patterns on FB - I now have a choice of things to make:D although, as always seems to be the case, no matter how big your stash, I need a couple of bits before I can get cracking...

SRM - my thoughts remain with you. Keep strong - you are the best friend she could hope for right now x

Bunny - hope you are a bit cheerier today x

Everyone else - have a great day

Luc x

    Good morning,

Looks like another sunny day here :)

Was lovely this morning :) no cleaning to do apart from putting the dishwasher on and sweeping the floors :)

Going to have a productive day today, sorting more beads out from the boxes in the dining room, May make some new jewellery along the way :)

1st though need to sort washing out, I seriously don't know where it all comes from :)

I did thanks. There's a couple of nice Right Angle Weave bracelets. I need to get some bicones and swarovskis but they will be lovely wee Xmas presents;) and not too complex to kick off with.

    Morning All

I am sitting waiting for the washing machine engineer to arrive. They text me at 8.30 to say he would be here between 9 and 11am, so a mad dash to get everything clean and tidy, me showered etc in case he arrived at 9am!

What I do the rest of the day depends on what time he gets here and finishes - then fingers crossed I can do my washing. At some point I will have to pick up my car as it is at the garage having a new wing mirror put on it, and my daughter's dad is coming round to see her at some point so will suddenly find lots to do upstairs! We do get on but he gets on my nerves so I try to see as little of him as possible.

  • Morning everyone,

The sun is shining and the leaves are turning on the trees, autumn is well and truely here!

    Luc, double shred. Madness!!!

SRM, my thoughts are with you and your friend.

Claire, I hope you're going to take it easy today.

I looked through my sewing box this morning; to find a cross stitch project to work on until my next course starts in Feb. I do have a confession, I've got lots of half completed projects!

    Morning all

I'm looking forward to seeing what you make Luc.

Tenmah - hope the washing machine is fixed.

We've just had the electrician round to look at our shower, it keeps shorting out and tripping the entire house so we need a nice new one (luckily the landlord pays - not us). Not sure when that will be hope it's soon as it's really hard to get DH in and out of the bath.

Need to work on this months budget as I forgot the content insurance was due and would like to clear it in one go rather than pay monthly.

How hard is embroidery Pooky? My dear friend that I lost had started a gorgeous one and she has others but I have never done embroidery only cross stitch - is it anything like it? Need to get cracking on cot quilts as so many friends have had babies through the summer and I have promised them, but the time wasn't there as you all know I was nursing my friend. So envious of those of you at home sewing and crafting and gardening in this glorious weather
