I want to transfer my existing mobile number from a monthly contract with T-Mobile to a PAY as you Go contract with MMO2. Can I do this is so how ?

You certainly can - as long as your out of your commitment period (usually 12 months) you can obtain a FOC PAC (Port Authorisation Code), give this to O2 and your number will transfer across in 5 working days.
