Does anyone know what a month means for this account?

I had a previous monthly saver and it was calendar months. If you opened an account at the end of the month, by changing the SO date to the start of the month you could get 13 payments into the account.

I've also got an incentive saver and for that months are based on the date of account opening.

Do they set up the SO when opening the account? Do you have date choice?

    Hi Guys
Job done, manage to open it today by calling 0845 3002 758 (this is also what mentioned on their website for existing customer).

My experience sofar (when I opnend vantage a/c), it is much faster to open it using Phone rather than Online Application if you are an exsiting customer.

So those who have not applied online yet. Do it by phone rather than online, you get it open in about 20 Minutes times.

    Cheers

  • Also apparently at some point I've asked for 'No marketing...' so not even any pushing of other products (apart from suggesting I consider LLoyds when my ISA is up for renewal ......as (quote) 'The regular saver is not an ISA product and is, therefore, subject to tax')

All done in about 10 mins over the phone ......

As the rate was previously 2% - the same as the Halifax RS has become - I wonder if that brand is about to move its rate up in line too?
.....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam
  • Hope so ! We'll have that one too ......!!!

While RBS and Nat West launched across both brands last year, I'd be gobsmacked if Lloyds and Halifax chose to compete against each other in a market where they'd chosen to push the price up.

Anyone to get the account set up on internet banking yet? I opened yesterday. Nothing happened yet! No account showed, no standing order set up showed....

Yes, mine's not showing, I was promised it within 24 hours, so they've got just under 4 hours to go! The suspense is very exciting :D

EDIT: I read what I just wrote and it seems a bit sad that that's the most exciting part of my day... but whatreyagonna do!
You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.

You can use (0800) 015 4000 to apply.

The tape says this is for current account applications only. Just ignore and press 1 to apply.
