O2 repair centre complaint
I recently sent in my mobile phone for repair under warranty. I was told that the warranty was void due to a USB port crack, screen crack and screen scratches. They wanted me to pay for it to be repaired. The phone was fine when I sent it off and so I got it returned thinking it must have been damaged in transit.
When I got the phone back it was fine with No cracked USB or screen or scratches. I called customer services who put me through to the repair centre.
O2 have offered me a refurbished phone as a replacement, however I would rather end my contract early as I really feel that I have been mislead and my faith in O2 has gone out of the window totally.
I have taken the time to attempt to warn them that this is happening to quite a few customers and that they need to look into it but it doesn't appear to bother them as much as me.
Where do I stand if I were to cancel the contract?
