Depends on the item. If it's high value (£100+) I'd say noooooo wayyyyy. My TV is broken!

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Sent a few cheap items there myself with no problems, but I wouldn't send high value items abroad. One day I might be more organised...........

GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -

If you are unhappy selling to Bankok I assume that you are thinking Paypal. If the seller is genuine explain your reservations and suggest an alternative payment method. Best of all would be direct bank transfer or altenatively you could suggest Western Union (don't think ebay like it nowdays though).
The thing with these methods are the buyer has to trust you and not visa versa. At least you are protected then, obviously these terms will not appeal to any scammer and they will run a mile. Might also scare off the genuine buyer but better than losing everything.0 -
Thanks everyone, I have not yet replied and now I have an e mail from him asking again. I will have to assess it again0

If by chance it is a phone then it must be a definite no as they cannot be insured if sent by Royal mail.

look to see where hes registered, tell him to pay by paypal and see where that's registered..
I did this and found a guy who wanted me to ship to lithuania. ebay registered in USA and paypal verified in wales lol. (he had loadsa brothers or something.) I used local listings to ring the paypal address up and they said their cc had been used fraudulently.
I suspected something was up but still kept in contact with the him, and said i'll post it if he paid me. I don't why i did it, suppose it was just to see how he'd get me to post the item.
Anyway now im lumbered wit ova £300 and i can't leave it in me paypal account.
I asked about this here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=258120
but nothing happend0
