    I`ve had letters cut like that...didn`t have a rant though.
  • I've had letters cut like that and then had things of value taken out, then it has been badly resealed and shoved through the door - this has happened quite a few times and it certainly wasn't a machine. I also get stuff that is supposed to be signed for just posted through the letter box. I have sent parcels and letters to people and they have not received them. I advice others to think very carefully before they post anything important.

    if its a very clean cut along the edge then its classic machine 'damage'
    as for Royal Mail knew it was damaged because it was in a bag.
    well um yes thats the purpose of the bag
    or perhaps you think the whole company should shut down when this occurs?
