Which network are you with? You should be able to cancel the paper itemised billing but still receive a paper bill just with no details of indivual calls. This is what I have been told by Orange and OSPS and we know we can rely on what we have been told.;)
Phone your provider as soon as possible and they should explain and cancel.

I have gone with orange on an 18 month contract in the hope of getting the free broadband, but wondered if i cancelled the itemised billing and insurance whether it would invalidate my cashback claims:o

I have been told that it does not invalidate your cashback. OSPS do not seem to make it easy to follow for their cashback and it is difficult to get hold of anyone that knows what is what.
As far as the free broadband it is worth a go but I was told by the phone retailers that they did not know anything about it and it may only be honoured by those who have bought from Orange directly.

Well BuyMobilePhones.net clearly offer the free broadband with there cashback deals so i have taken a chance, if they advertise on this site then orange must be giving it to non-direct customers, click on any of their orange packages of £30 or more on an 18 month contract and the free broadband is there
