Do you wear a different outfit each day?

Just curious really. Do you wear something different every day or wear it again the next day if it's still clean? Do you wear one part like trousers maybe but change your top? If you have a complete change every day, do you have plenty in your wardrobe to choose from or do you have to wash quickly to re-wear it again?

I've been living in work clothes lately (DIY work clothes...paint stained jeans etc) and I'm fed up looking like a tramp so I'm going to buy something new to cheer myself up. I never seem to have a lot in my wardrobe to choose from at the best of times but pickings are slim at the moment which made me wonder if everyone else had wardrobes bursting with choice. (Not old stuff you don't look at....I mean stuff you wear now. :D)

Hi alias:) I wear a different outfit everyday, sometimes depending on what I'm doing I change once or twice a day as well (I live a varied life;)) recently I have started to put stuff like jeans back in the wardrobe after one wear rather than washing them mainly because I'm fed up doing washing and have better things to do but I wouldnt wear an item two days running. I have a huge amount to choose from, I dont do capsule wardrobes, I would die of boredom and I change all my clothes over at winter time and summer time, I buy stuff I will wear year after year quality/designer and fashion stuff as cheap as I can and then pass it on when I'm fed up. Just to add to it all I have a pj and slipper thing going on and have matching sets of both to sit around in but strangly I take at least the bottoms off to sleep in:D
Thank you for this site Martin
The time for change has come

I would wear things more than once before washing if I considered them clean, but might not wear them 2 days on the run, if that makes sense.

I have loads of clothes - but sadly have put on weight recently so not lots of them fit. I try to find 3 or 4 tops to wear for work, and at least 2 pairs of trousers to rotate, and maybe a dress to mix it up a bit.

Outside of work tends to be jeans and leggings & casual tops and jumpers, jeans I'd defo wear more than once, but leggings less inclined to.

i always wear a diff outfit everyday. i may wear the same jeans two days running but would be washed at night so clean and dry for next day. even if they not got dirty i would still wash to make sure fresh and clean.
  • I ware somethings two days like jeans. But thats about it.

If you don't have loads of money for clothes I try and make it different with make up and how I wear my hair or add a scarf.

I dont wear the same thing 2 days on the run, but I might not wash something after one wearing, if that makes sense!

Tops that are next to skin, leggings tights and underwear changed after one wear
Jumpers (if they have been worn over another top) cardis, jeans and trousers trousers I would wear twice before washing

  • i wear a new outfit every day even if it is a variation on the previous day. the only thing i wear more than once is jeans for dossing round the house in. i put a clean pair on if going out and then put the dossing pair back on when home.

i dont do a full wash cycle either for the clothes that i wear once then wash i do the quick wash option to freshen them up cause its not like they are filthy.

I wear trousers and jeans twice before washing, leggings and all tops get worn once and cardis last a few days as I rarely have them on all day. I do have quite a large wardrobe but go through phases of favourite things.
  • I will get a few wears out of a pair of jeans, quite often I'll wear the same pair 2 days in a row as I don't think it's too ovbious with jeans but I wouldn't wear the same top 2 days in a row as it's quite noticeable. I'll wash tops after 1 or 2 wears max, usually one wear as mine just don't seem to stay clean!

Those are roughly my principles too, although I'll wear trousers and skirts more than two days if they're not mucky. But I don't wear the same top two days in a row.

I wear a different outfit every day. I own too many clothes as I never throw anything away (my wardrobe contains items in size 4-16!) and I love to wear different things, put on different looks. But having said that, my mood dictates alot of what I wear and I'd say about 20% of my stuff is never worn year on year, 50% remains as "I'll think about that later" and I seem to live off about 10% where I swap stuff around day to day, tends to be black, tight tops, baggy pants or treggins and long tops. I think I only wear about 5 different items! I also own the same top 4 times (I really like it) and the same pair of trousers 3 times.

Hmmm, I can see I need to go shopping for some new outfits... :D
