    and another thing zyx, take a valuable lesson from me, never ever have your domain and hosting with the same company! As WelshPaul said, there are some crazy hosts out there operating from back bedrooms, if they decide they don't like you as a client because you disapprove with their hosting they will make your life very difficult when it comes to releasing your domain!

    Thanks guys, your right about the not getting it from your domain provider, just seems like a bad idea to begin with, am i better perhaps going with something as bit more expensive eg: webfusion, demon? i'll keep looking when i get back from hols in 2 weeks :j
