  • Well good job I cancelled that holiday car bill finally came in almost double what was expected. £1900   and triple . Managed to scrap together the extra money (i had £1000 held back) though. Ex very annoyed as well but not much we or the mechanic could have done. He plans to pay for the car and the extra £900 back to me ASAP. I know he wants to so hopefully he is able.

In the meantime work not good. Really not enjoying new job and mood still all over the place. Taking some time off to consider options.

Overall things could still be worse and I dont regret anything so what will be will be as they say.

  • That's just to do with your personal circumstances. You will cry at the drop of a hat. I hardly ever cry and I bawled my eyes out all the time when I split with ex hubby. My friends came to pick me up one night as kids had gone with him and they found me on the kitchen floor, bawling my eyes out and blind drunk as I had started on the vodka as soon as he had left. This shocked me as I hardly ever drink either. I reckon everyone has to have a mini meltdown after a major upheaval like a split. I just wish now that I had not spent so much time being angry and upset as he seriously was not worth it. Don't let it spoil your life. Hugs from me even if they are only virtual ones xx

  • Yes thanks but not beed moneysaving at all. In fact I think when I add everything up (hopefully soon) I will be in the highest debt Ive ever been :(.

Back with Ex although still living apart. Taking it slowly and things going well so really hope it will continue that way. He sat and helped with a mammoth filing session yesterday so now I dont have a hugh pile of post to go through and I will be able to find everything I should be able to get a true postion. Well once my expenses are completed that is.

Not been following any thread recentely so hope you are still doing well.

  • Hello peeps

Starting to feel a bit more normal agian after the last few months which turbulant if the easiest way to describe.

Filing up to date but not yet sat down to work out true money situation and budget. Tough at the moment as still have my house on the go. Wont and cant let that go just yet. Still in the early days of our relationship. Its going well but still a tad nervous with everything that has gone on. New job has been a disaster to date but can only get better. Still sdeeing councellor which is helping alot. Mmaking me see that I can control things and i cant just act like a victim.

Hope to start posting on here more regularly just to try to keep myself in check. Like MIT says I know what I need to do and what not to do just need to put it into practice.

Off work until next thursday so aim to declutterr OHs house and look to do a car boot BH monday subject to weather. Also have used tesco vouhers to get cinema and Alton Tower tickets to keep the kids entertained a bit after cancelling the holiday.

    xxx
