SMS advertising with no opt out

I've been receiving SMS adverts from a company I used a while back. I remember providing my mobile number at the time for delivery purposes only, but find them now using to constantly tell me of their latest sale. I also receive this information by post, and by email (both of which have an opt-out), the texts however just state the name as the sender, no phone number so I'm not able to reply to them with STOP. The details they have for me under my account on the website can only be altered by placing a new order!
I'm about to send an email to the company asking for my details to be removed, stating I'm not over happy with their use of SMS as they provide no opt out on this, and that I really don't need reminding by three methods every time they have another sale. I'm sure I read somewhere that they are supposed to give you this option in the text? If this is the case, I'd like to include this point. Had a quick look at the Ofcom website, but couldn't find anything.
Can anyone clarify this for me please?

You're confusing two things premiums rate messages and SMS marketing.
Premium rate (reverse charge) texts MUST provide an opt-out.
SMS marketing messages are illegal unless you have opted in. I guess you did this unintentionally on the previous occasion. There is no requirement for there to be a STOP or equivalent as they are opt-in. To stop them you need to contact the company.
If you believe that the messages where sent without permission or that the company are operating them outside of the regulations then you should make a complaint via the Information Commissioner's Office. (ico.gov.uk)0
