Moving to London (eek!)

Good morning I am probably going to move down to London (even though it's not officially confirmed :wall: ) but I best start thinking about the practicalities and such like, but not being the best at organising my life at times I am calling on your knowledge of the capital or making a move out of a locality that you know…

I think the OP is brave [or possibly foolish!?] to move, at 31, so far from home on his/her own.

Anyway, I've lived in London for 12 years, I'm now at an age where I've acquired pets, a child, and so on, ruling it out now, but something I kind of regret a little bit is not having ever lived really centrally, in an area where there's lots going on. It tends to cost far more, of course.

Someone else mentioned Holloway, I'd say this isn't bad as a cheapish option... on a direct tube line to South Ken & I guess moderately near Euston station for the north west if that's important.
