ALways make myslef look busy - Not really that bad though. Quiet time of year. Not looking forward to getting back outside tonight though. A quick 15 min drive and back home to the family.

How many dogs you got ??

I don't blame you, it's really cold out there!! How many days do you get off at christmas?

Mrs F's just rang - I've gotta got the 1/2 week food shopping to do on the way home.

My four cats are monkeys especially now the tree is up. Ball-Balls everywhere !!!

We get sat, sun, mon & tues off here and Mrs F gets sat, sun, tues, wed.

Its the first xmas day off for a few years for her, so it should be nice.

What do you do xmas ?

Oh dear, it's going to be busy but you have to eat eh!!

Putting my tree up in a few days and the times the dogs with wagging tails.......nearly knock it over......poor tree looks very sad when it's eventually taken down!!:eek::rotfl:

Awww that's brilliant, lovely all to be together!! :dance:

Going to my sister's this year......as long as snow permits, making sure I have food in the freezer just in case!!

We've not put a tree up in about ten years - 'cos that year we had two lively kittens in the house who thought it was their own personal climbing frame............

I thought my cat loved me she wouldn't move from my side all night
when I did get her to move she was on the duvet about the hot water bottle no wonder she wouldn't move

I/we get..thurs, fir, sat, sun, mon tues wed thurs fri and a half day mon off......

it's called 'time-off-in-lieu'

which means simply, in exchange for several 45 minute presentations in our own time....we get a half day off for each one...

Of course, I could opt to work..which would mean a manager having to come in too, and the heating left on....and of course, work suitable to my grade being offered....such action goes down like a lead balloon with management!


all on taxpayers' money..too..tee hee....

oh the snow, the snow.....been out 'working' in it all day...[work is a dirty word with us .....but somehow I find it a useful way to describe what I try not to do...and get paid for it..]......got cold and wet.....

I have a 15 mile, very rural drive to work and back....this morning, am overtaken [very snowy road condition's] by a flash , impatient gite in a BMW.....about a mile further on...on a straight bit of road too, notice said BMW's bum poking out of a hole in the hedge! 'Funny place to stop for a picnic', thinks I..................or maybe his mobile went off?

Anyway, as I passed, drivers door was opening and silly donkey was climbing out....


then tonight, on the way home, it's dark, it's a blizzard...I'm making good progress, hampered by poor visibility....small Micra, who was in front of me....really racing away into the gloom...[aren't snowflakes hypnotic?}

I did get within number-plate reading distance a time or two, but not often.....

Micra races off down a hill, and around a bend....I follows a wee while later, to see a pair of [micra-sized] headlights poking out of the hedge at me! Odd, thinks I...didn't know there was a field gateway just at that point....?
