Phone Recycling Sites: Does your phone have to be unlocked?
Hi,
I have a Nokia 5230, which I am looking to trade in to get the Orange San Francisco, and my Nokia 5230 is locked to T-Mobile. Do phone recycling companies pay less for locked phones? I can't see anything on the site, but I don't want to suddenly find out my phones value is £20 not £50!
Specifically this website:http://www.fonebank.com/recycle_sell_mobile_phone_Nokia_5230.aspx?aff=webgains&siteid=11628
Thanks!

The website you refer to accepts locked phones and presumably pays the same price regardless of whether the phone is locked or not,Hi,

Yes, we accept network locked mobile phones.
Other companies I have used in the past offer more for an unlocked phone and a different price for a locked phone depending on which network it's locked to.
