I bought a suit from a new seller in early September .
It didnt arrive and I received a refund via paypal .
Problem is it has now arrived with a note from royal mail to say it was damaged in transit .The suit is undamaged but the packaging is damaged .

Contact seller and Paypal explain whats happened and offer payment.

go into your paypal account
there you can find the transaction and thus pay the seller0 -
Or if you don't want it contact the seller tell them it has arrived and ask them to send a stamped envelope for its return, or else arrange to collect it.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. A stamped envelope...for a suit???? Please will you come and pack my Ebay items for me Soolin? I've a feeling you could save me a fortune at the Post Office...0 -
I had a seller mail me a trouser-suit in a stamped manilla envelope once. It arrived in one of those plastic Post Office thingys and I reckon it was a miracle that it found its way to me at all. The seller left me very snotty feedback to my own (positive) feedback mentioning the inadequate packaging. Some people are just daft!0

Poor seller, he opens a new account all exited about his first sale and what happens, it all goes wrong and he thinks he's been scammed. In disgust he closes his account and vow's never to use ebay again.
I would contact him stating it was a post office mistake and try to come to an arrangement with him. His email address will be in your paypal history.0 -
