I think it depends on the Local Authority! where are you planning to go?0

We're in Hampshire and ours break up on 8th April, but as hermanmunster says, it depends on the local authority. My friend who lives in London sometimes has half terms a week either side of ours, but given that Easter is the same everywhere, I doubt there will be much difference in dates.0

Ours break up the 8th april as well, I'm midlands area, easter hols are give ad take, what you can do is if you know the area you want, put a search for the council, and then education, and there be a calender - the only general addition is a PD day as usually one of the days is a floater that the head can decide when they use it. xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Our local council now has a Spring Break instead of Easter holidays, so the kids are off school for the first two weeks in April. They will also have Good Friday and Easter Monday off.0

We're the same as Kingfisherblue - kids'll hardly be in in April and then the following monday's the May bank holiday!0

PS anyone planning hols for 2012 - the half term break at the end of May will be a week later than usual as we're being given an extra bank holiday for the Queen's diamond jubilee0

English Easter break next year is any of the two weeks in April and it's a nightmare.
Our area has a fixed Easter holiday, regardless of when Good Friday is it is the first two weeks in April.
One neighbouring authority is having the break of the two weeks incorporating Good Friday week and Easter Monday week rolling into May Day.
Another area has the two weeks before Easter and schools go back the Tuesday after Easter Monday!0 -
