    Evening all.

You ladies are in great form this evening.

    I don't like Storm.

I am going to have a very large glass of chilled wine and some pizza and put my feet up. I wish every night was Saturday night.

Lou, I just read back about your MIL and I can totally empathise. We have been in a similar position for the last 3 years, basically banging our heads and getting nowehere. Unfortunately my MIL was admitted to hosp 3 weeks ago with a really bad stroke, now is paralysed down right side with no speech and unable to swallow, this is all exacerbated by the "dementia". I hope you get some help soon.

We don't really know how things will pan out, she is still very ill but you just have to keep going on and fighting your corner. There is something to be said for advocacy for the older people in our society.

    I completely agree

If I or my OH were seeing people and acting the was my MIL is we would be treated almost immedately. Why is it deemed acceptable to let older people suffer?
