3 contract for desire allowances

I took out an upgrade a week ago for a HTC Desire on the internet texter 500 plan for £20pm as a retention offer direct from 3.

Although I have had the phone a week my contract doesnt actually start untill today, because it starts from my billing date, so ive checked on my3 that all my allowances are correct but it seems a little strange.

It looks as though im getting 3gb of internet allowance when the internet texter plan is only meant to have 1gb.

Now naturally I dont want to phone three about this incase its a mistake by the agent that set my contract up, and they go on to remove it or charge me for it.

So can anybody who has a contract for the desire direct from 3 on the internet texter 500 plan confirm their internet allowances?

I have a feeling that the 2gb of data for "Internet & Messaging" would be the 'unlimited email' allowance and would probably only be used when accessing 'email on 3'. I think that everything else, including accessing email through another client, would come out of your 1gb "Internet" allowance".
Hope this makes sense.

Ive just noticed my proper bill has been produced in my3 and it shows as there being Free Add Internet Max 09 Oct to 08 Nov on my account.

Looking at the 3 website it looks as though this usually costs £5 a month for 2gb of internet usage.

Could anybody who has the desire on this plan confirm they have this added. It all seems a bit odd, I was only told I would get 1gb of internet.

If you use the internet browser what figure goes down?
That's an impressive level of detail they give on the billing for the allowances.

the 1024mb one has been reducing, I presume that will be reduced first as the other one looks like an add on that will be used after the first one?
