I had some good sales from thge last 5p listing day

cheap listing days are good, but all you end up with are floods of products which yours might get missed. saving 10 pence? is it really worth it?

Good idea why can't we have a sticky on the cheaper days so the mods can change the first post when I new cheaper day comes along. :beer:

Listing promotions can be useful for BINs (or probably even straight auctions), even if listings do get swamped. If your item doesn't sell, relist a week or two later (within 30 days though) and, providing it sells, your latter (higher) listing fee will get refunded (caveat: if it doesn't sell second time round it will have cost you both listing fees as you won't get a refund for subsequent re-listings).

I listed several similar items on the last BIN promotion, none sold but all but one have now gone after relisting.

Anyway, here is a list (probably not exhaustive) of all of the listing promotions over the past couple of years or so on ebay UK. I've not anaylysed it properly, but if anyone can spot any patterns, please let us all know...

There isn't really a need, you can't believe how quickly someone will post the info when they see it. We've even had it posted before it shows properly on the announcement board. :j
