Well I just ordered mine. Hope I can sell it on as I have an old(ish) 40GB IPOD that does me very well. I still have not managed to fill it yet.

Sorry everyone I bought mine out of sheer Ebay greed (plus the security of a 30 day return policy!).

Mind you when it comes in its shiny new box I will have to do my best not to open it!

The small print in the email confirmation reads;

"Please note that for items ordered from Amazon.co.uk or Amazon Jersey this e-mail is only an acknowledgement of receipt of your order and your contract to purchase these items is not complete until we send you an e-mail notifying you that the items have been dispatched to you."

I'm not sure it will make any difference...
I also selected the 'Express Delivery' which costs £8.99 and got:

Dispatch estimate: 9 Oct 2006
Delivery estimate: 12 Oct 2006

but if you look at 30111987's post above (post #47) he/she says that he/she selected 'Super Saver Delivery' and got:

Dispatch estimate: 9 Oct 2006
Delivery estimate: 11 Oct 2006 - 13 Oct 2006


Ultimately I'm sure my order will be cancelled anyway (or they'll try and send me a 4gb version rather than the 8gb)
