I sense there is some discrimnation going on here with amazon. Perhaps they are only honoring orders for people who have made past purchases?0

no, some peeps have just put in their first order and got it.
peeps theres no order, if your ordered in the past doesn't mean you get it, or the frequency, or if you chose the express del option
maybe they sorted the orders by surname or sumthing etc0 -
It must work on :
express/super delivery
Free delivery
Staff on the weekend must be different and dispatched the products.I assume today they must have had a staff meeting and decided to cancel all those not sent out.0 -
nah i doubt it, normally pricing errors are flagged up straight away, someone let it slip, until mid day sat, someone no doubt has got fired.
Its strange how orders are still being fulfilled up until day. Peeps u need to understand amazon web site is 24/7, being a IT nerd and working in the industry,
i reckon the it dept (with approval from senior management) is cleaning up from behind hoping no one will follow up on cancelled orders, i reckon if you all persist you might get it
I don't think amazon will admit to a pricing error, too much bad pr if they do. just like the atmt 300mb hard drives that were going for 56.99 a few weeks ago, when they should of being going for around £80, clearly a pricing error, but no admitance from amazon, and they are still fulfilling them orders, according to members of the forums. whats difference in this case is that, more peeps order the nanos over the hard disks.
ps amazon aren't making a huge loss, on bulk purchases they prob get it for £100 or less per unit. me thinks they should take this on the chin, and implement better code to prevent crap like this happening in the first place0 -
Right, so who's orders should haven't been cancelled yet??? anyone?0

I dont think Amazon have met fellow MSE savers. We need to bomboard them and make sure they fulfil our orders. I will be giving them a call. I have emailed them but i think a phone call will help as well. Heh.
I have to admit i have lots of gadgets but i was really looking forward to this. Perfect for my next couple of hols and some commuting i am having to do.
