I only ordered one.I have emailed them as well. I went for the FREE delivery option but if some peoples ordered are honoured and others arent i think we should email The Times (all of us) and make a headline.

At least Argos told its customers. They havent even bothered to acknowledge us.

No blanket law governing shoppers’ legal rights when buying over the internet. Argos can dictate terms of sales contracts as long as they are published in their terms and conditions.

When customer goes online and sees price tag attached to goods, there’s no guarantee they are entitled to that price. Because the medium of sale is a website, Argos has the right to decide at what stage an offer and acceptance forming a contract takes place.

Once an online purchase has taken place, vendor has automatically to send confirmation e-mail to customer. This does not constitute acceptance amounting to a contract and does not guarantee the customer the goods at that stated price.

Acceptance does not take place until the product is dispatched to the customer. Until then, according to the Terms and Conditions of Argos, the retailer is entitled to withdraw the offer.

there must be some thing we can all do, trading standards, discrimination etc seems very unfair that certain orders were fulfilled and others not, for no apparent reason. i gonna contact the metro tomorrow, some good publicity for amazon is needed

Not true - I ordered Friday at around 2220 with the super saver option, and mine was dispatched today.
