Surely if they've dispatched one then they'll do the same with the rest? (At least those who ordered sensibly)

I placed the order @ 23:05 on 06/10/06. Used the First class delivery option (forgot to change it to super saver).

Logged back in few minutes later and I was unable to modify the order to super saver, only view order.

Same here, after a while I was able to edit the order. I guess it means they will honour my order.

My other two that I ordered have now changed to Dispatching soon, and the funds have been reserved on my credit card so looks like I'm getting them too!!!

So has anyone else had their card charged for this?

From what I can see, they authorise the card just as it reaches the "Dispatching soon" phase. Then the card is actually charged on dispatch.

I ordered about 7pm Friday and got a dispatch confirmation this morning.

    Interestingly, the email states:

Amazon.co.uk items (Sold by Amazon.com Int'l Sales, Inc.). Perhaps they are sourcing cheaper stock from the US to minimise their losses (assuming it was a misprice). Or perhaps they normally source stock from the US anyway.
  • Had a dispatched confirmation e-mail. I ordered at about 10.30 pm on Friday and went for approx £5 postage. Son will be delighted. Many thanks again to OP

Do you think there's any hope for us who saw this late and ordered yesterday morning? I have a delivery estimate of 19 Oct 2006 - 28 Oct 2006...

Yes, Amazon have shown that they are honouring orders now so you should get yours. They are not known for honouring misprices for some people and not others. It's all-or-nothing.
