Got mine last night, and I'm so pleased I did, especially now the price has gone up! I'm quite lucky with this, because my 2-year-old Creative Zen Micro packed up the other day, and the 12 hour battery now lasts a pitiful 3 hours.

I need advice....have bought one of these 8 Gb ipods at 113 but only bought a refurbed 2 GB ipod nano from the apple store for 65 a few weeks ago. Don't really need both even though 2 GB was xmas pressie for oh. What do you think I should do...have been wondering whether to cancel???? Or should I try and flog refurb...not used but came without box.......any advice would be great

Keep the 8GB, sell the 2GB.

Also from my experience with Amazon they quite often sell similar products with a slightly different colour etc for dramatically different prices. e.g the leappads at 19.95 when the pink ones were still 48.00. This would explain the ipod 8 GB being the same price as the 4 Gb. This is a tactic to persuade you even more that it is a fantastic deal.
I will be surprised if they don't honour this as I think it is a genuine good deal as opposed to a glitch!;)

The fact that it's 8gb vs 4gb for the same price, regardless of colour, already screams in your face that it is a great deal. :j
