Hi all,
I really don't know if I am in the right forum here as I am a new user, anyway here goes.............
I need some advice, I ordered some rather expensive mineral makeup for my friend for her birthday from a site called beautybasket.co.uk, I placed the order on the 29th Sept, I had an email confirmation back with my order summary, they also automatically registered me to their site so I could check my order status, when I tried to log in with the log in details that THEY GAVE ME, their site says the details are not recognised, I have gone through the password change process 3 times and still I cannot access 'my account'.
I have emailed them 3 times and they are not contacting me at all, needless to say the makeup never arrived so I am £20 down and my friend didn't get her birthday present.
I paid for the item on my debit card and its showing on my bank statement.
Can anyone please please help?
Cheers,
Michelle

This isn't an expensive site. I found the pricing reasonable. In these days £20 is cheap for make up. I personally pay £29 for mine.
I would be worried more about how you paid. It is a legit company as I purchased a gift from them for my friend early in the year. The item did arrive and in good time. What I would say is their customer service part is not top notch. They used to have their contact address online.
As a trader myself I am aware of customer service. I always recommend my customers pay via paypal or credit card as these are protected.

Regardless of your opinion on price (I think £20 isn't cheap for makeup) if its a legit site then where is my order? More importantly why is no one is replying to my countless emails. Its disgusting.
I have reported them to trading standards and hope to get a refund via my bank as I paid Visa Debit.
