Your CC at 27% - more than £100 will be added to that card monthly in interest and you pay off £50. If these figures are correct, the debt on that card is only growing.

You really need to talk to your husband. Does he have any savings that could be used to get some of these card balances down?

    Hi

I agree with the others that you need to tell your husband ASAP. OK, so he may not take it too well - but he'll take it a lot better than finding out from his credit report, or from answering the telephone when one of the debt collection companies is on the phone.

Relationships are supposed to be built on love, trust and respect - keeping something like this from him doesn't show a lot of trust or respect (IMHO).

With respect to your SOA above, you have removed your joint loan - if you enter a DMP, you can not remove it - that has to be declared too as the whole idea of a DMP is to share out your remaining income after living expenses in a way proportionate to the size of your unsecured debts. If any of your other creditors find out that you have undeclared credit that you are sevicing "normally", then there's a chance that they won't accept the DMP.

Whatever you do, with your mortgage renewal coming up, you NEED to involve your husband so he is at least aware of what's going on. Maybe he could even shoulder a bit more of the day-to-day expenses to give you some breathing space to sort out your creditors.

Best of luck with it! :)
