what on earth is wrong with a goodwill gesture? I assume that is what TCB are doing.

I run a small business and we occasionally offer goodwill gestures even if it means a loss on that sale, where things that have gone wrong aren't necessarily our fault.

I think the problem here is that people think that sites like TCB and Quidco are some sort of co-operative that are doing it all for free simply because they pass "all the cashback" on to you.

Nothing could be further from the truth - they make good profits!

    (So I am told)

Quidco have not chosen to make a good will gesture...they prefer to wait for the Adminstrators report. Which is perhaps good practice?

there is nothing wrong with a goodwill gesture. The title of that will let you know that it is just from goodwill.. they do not have to supply you with cashback if they do not get it.

take it on the chin and try to stop blaming quidco for someone else demise.

For the last time I am not BLAMING Quidco...

I am alerting people to the fact that at least one other cashback company seems to be able to offer more goodwill to their customers than Quidco can.

I wrote off the £105 a long time ago - it is a shame that I also had to write off several hours of my time dealing with inaccurate 'hedging' dissembling responses from Quidco as to what had happened to the cashback, due after 3 months, some 11 months afterwards.

I dont blame Quidco for not paying out what they dont have.

I applaud TopCashback for doing so

Make your own choice - I couldnt give a flying fig if you want to carry on using them be my guest.

Now - I have better things to do than argue the point. This is my last post on the subject.

As mentioned above - look at the title of this section of the forum:

    Praise, Vent and Warnings

My posts contain all three and I do not apologise for that - if you dont like it look at a different thread!

So far Quidco dont seem to care about keeping the customer happy...

Just because quidco are not giving you the money you are having a go at them.So i am countering that.

if you dont like it then fine..Quidco or any cashback site do not guarantee you money back if a place goes under
