O2 PAYG balance refund

I have 11pounds on my o2 PAYG but no longer require the use, o2 are not refunding the balance to me or will not even transfer the balance to my fiances o2 contract account, all there offering is to transfer the balance to another o2 PAYG account.

Has anyone else had this issue or know how to solve it and get the money back from them?

You can't get the money back. As said, the best they can do is transfer it to another O2 PAYG account.

Not really. You asked them to put the money on and they are still willing to offer you a service. It's just that you don't want their service. Unless they terminate the agreement, they've got no obligation to pay it back.

By topping up you would have agreed to the terms and conditions that state top ups are none refundable.

If tops were refundable you could use the same £10 forever going round and round...

Also, each time you top up you will get a reward, if they refund everyone then basically you will be getting a large amount of calls and texts for free.
