ASDA home shopping disgusting!

  • Well, low and behold Asda did not phone me today, so that left me phoning them (for a change!). The cs guy said he would phone me back when he had spoken to the home shopping department about this whole incident. "Errr, no, no, no" i said. "I am not being fobbed off again, i am staying on this phone until i am told what is going on and i know i am getting a refund, you can use another phone and i will hold!" I was shaking i was so cross! After holding for 15minutes he came back to advise they would refund the money but would take 3+ days for it to go back in. I said it better had or else i would phone again. My parting words were that i hope they dont do this to all their loyal customers as i am disgusted and put the phone down. Just got to keep an eye on my account incase they dont do it, i would hate to be the person who gets me on that phone call!

I tried ordering with ASDA three times (more fool me!) The first time some of my items were missing, and the customer services virtually accused me of lying and trying to get money from them. The second time they sent me a lot of things that were past their sell-by dates. The third time I was enticed to order because of the number of special offers they had running. Unfortunately unlike Tesco ASDA don't tell you if a special offer will expire before your shopping is delivered, and I had to pay £20 more. The last straw was looking on their site that day and spotting several of the 'expired' special offers were still on. I have used Tesco and Sainsbury online and never had a problem with either.
