If you don't want films or sports then what's the point of a Sky subscription?
Cancel your sub. When you move, take your dish and box and use it to get Freesat from Sky (the non-sub channels) for no charge.
Or alternatively use the same dish to get Freesat, or an aerial to get Freeview.
    An instant saving of £540pa.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

There is no comparison with what you get on Freesat and what you get on regular packages on Sky. We pay for 4 out of the 6 mixes, Variety, knowledge, Style & Culture and Music packs for £22 a month. No sport or movies.
Our Sky box isn't working at the moment and there are so many programmes/channels that we can't watch right now and so I know we couldn't do with just Freesat or Freeview!

Maybe you need to research another supplier of phone line/broadband for when you move house. We have Virgin for phone & internet and Sky for our TV .

Why would you expect to get exactly the same channels as Sky when you are paying £264pa (and that will rise in January) for the service? Freesat and Freeview are ...free.
Sky has a lot more channels, but they're not mostly ones that you would want to bother watching.

I don't think I was suggesting that. I was just trying to give a reasonable answer to what you wrote earlier...

Sorry for the confusion I have caused.
