O2 Simplicity - how long does it take?

I am currently on PAYG with O2 and have a favourite place bolt-on thingy. I phoned the automated service on Monday morning to change to one of the Simplicity £10 tariffs as I was spending too much on texts.

On Tuesday morning I had a text from O2 saying I was changing to Simplicity and if I didn't want to change, I had to text STOP to a certain number, which I didn't do.

So my question is basically how much longer now before I'm actually on this Simplicity tariff - I gather they take the £10 from my credit so I have made sure I've had over £10 all week, but now I'm down to £10.09 and getting impatient!
