Costco offers - e.g. Toshiba Duo core P100-423 17" laptop + case for £704.99

I shall give up trying to help with judging the value of the Costco model. I hope it's been useful to somebody.
(I have read the specs of the other models and I know they are not the same as the Costco model. They were only intended as some sort of guide).

Well it's on offer from Monday. Has anyone found any more information on this one? Googling Toshiba P100-423 comes up with very little on this model: this forum and someone selling one on eBay for around £1,100!

Whatsat mean in non techie language.
My desktop has a NVIDIA GeForce2 MX 400 which is rated at 128-bit Single Data Rate (SDR) or 64-bit Double Data Rate (DDR) memory and it starts to struggle a bit with something like SIM CITY 4 or PhotoShop 7 as well as surfing etc at the same time [screen freeze]

Does the product code of the Toshiba P100-423 on offer at COSTCO start with PSPA0E, PSPA3E, PSPA4E or PSPA6E qualifying it for the express upgrade (i.e. free upgrade) to Windows Vista.

Yeah I bought one. It's very good. Certainly a lot better than the one it replaced, which is 4 years old. I am using it now actually and listening to the radio on it at the same time. It was also about half the price I paid for the one it replaced 4 years ago.

The product code starts with PSPAOE. Do I get a free upgrade to Vista?
