Just heard back from Costco head office about the graphics for this laptop they will be selling.
Intel 945GM Express chipset with 128MB shared.
Shame, was hoping for a dedicated graphics card.0 -

Think I mentioned that in post # 6 - they are in the passport voucher books that have just been sent out - but they are also normally available from customer services or just at the door as you go in - at my local store in Glasgow at any rate. If you are a member you'd receive one in the post.HLK

That is for the UK site which shows two different versions of the P100. I can not find any information about the P100-423, even from Toshiba. The crucial missing item in the Costco booklet is the Graphics Card. This is an Nvidia GeForce Go 7600 in the UK model but, as is stated in a previous post, the Costco model appears to use the Intel 945GM Express Chipset.0 -
Just to be really useful, the P101 (american version with the better graphics card) is for sale in the local shop in iraq for aprox $750 or about £390:beer: .
No case though, as I think it may have broken when it fell off the back of the American PX lorry;)

35 miles is a long way to go unless you know you will use your membership. They normally let you have a day pass to see if it's worth your while joining, not sure if you can purchase on a day pass though, but give them a phone and ask. I buy all my meat from there, based on quality as well as price and I find it great for presents as some of the stuff is quite unusual. If you know someone with a pass already maybe they could take you along ? Oh, and if you decide you do want to join make sure you have the correct documentation with you.. I think it's 2 utility bills.. again check by phone.
Good Luck!
ps I get all my bedding from there it's 'hotel' quality
plus wine ( 5ltr boxes of red are good )
large prawns - frozen
books
optician's - great prices for specs - designer brands but not designer prices
tyres are very popular but not tried myselfHLK
