Does sending in mobile to 'mobile buyers' form legal contract?

I just sold a phone to Money4mymobile and was given a very generous offer (much higher then other places).

I just wanted to know whether sending in that phone to them forms a contract or can they decide that their offer was too much and then reduce it?

its always subject to them checking the item

We examine every phone that we receive. If, on inspection, we find that the model you traded is different to the one we received, or its condition is not as described, we will advise you of its new value by email . If we do not hear from you within 7 days, we will automatically process the phone and pay you the new value

So if the product correct and in great nick they can't suddenly contact me back saying we made a pricing error and we're now paying you such and such?

All I'm asking is, is there a contract formed when they receive the handset from me (if the conditions mentioned on their site are fulfilled)?

I'd have thought that the contract would be from the point they've examined the phone and confirmed that its as you described it.

If it's not as described they'll offer you a price that reflects that, its up to you then to either take the new offer or have the phone sent back.
