lpg (flogas) standing charge - is this right?

Hi,
We moved into a house in June with LPG.
Within the first week I arranged for Flogas to top up the tank which was done and paid for.
I declined their offer of signing a contract with them which they agreed that I did not technically have to do.
I have just had an invoice asking for £25 (quarterly bill) for the standing charge.
I phoned Flogas who state that this is a compulsory charge as I am hiring the tank from them.
I was not told this by the vendor when I bought the house - is this charge correct and do I have to pay? (I think that I know the answer but am annoyed because it is another bill to pay on top of all the others!)
Best wishes

BP Charge £10. Check the contract, but you do typically have to pay a standing charge for hire AND MAINTAINANCE of the tank. If you bought your own, you would end up paying 80 quid for the tank to be checked annually, so you are best renting it off the supplier tbh.
If you arent on contract, consider shopping around and swiching suppliers. Extragas and BP are pretty cheap on their variable rate and have lower tank hire costs.0
