Sorry to disillusion you but it is the sort of steamer that cooks vegetables. It is meant to be healthier and more economical but I hardly use it. It is quite useful at Christmas as it frees up a couple of rings but even so I want rid.

Thanks to all the people who have thanked me but the alternative is the charity shop or a car boot (which I am not likely to get round to doing) and I would rather it went to someone I know (if only virtually).

Afternoon!

Happy Birthday Hypno!

Due at the end of next week and didn't expect to be feeling fed up so soon:cool: Can't wait to meet my baby girl:)

The secret ties in with lots of various trains of thought... you dont have to believe in it for it to work.

I took a career break, and taught English in an Orphanage in Thailand. Whilst there I tried to get my head around some of the Budhist concepts.

The most difficult for me as a fallen Catholic, brought up with all the dogma and guilt was making yourself happy first.

Over a bottle of whiskey one night it clicked:p If you think about the times when you were the happiest and most positive, they are the times when you are the most generous and giving. When you are miserable and upset, thats when you are more likely to be selfish, and turned inward and not see opportunities or have the energy to be bothered.

So it makes sense to make yourself happy and be positive, and to ask for what you want because that makes you a better person! So not selfish at all

Aww Winky (((hugs))). The last couple of weeks are the longest. Been there, done that 5 times. But the minute you have your baby girl, time will fly in a way it never has before. You'll blink and it'll be time your for littlie to start nursery. Honestly, they grow up so fast, these last few days are the last time you will have to be selfish, so spoil yourself and try and enjoy them. Your little bundle will be here to meet her mummy soon enough.
Easy for me to say I know, all you want right now is your baby and I tooooooooootttttaaaaaaallllly relate.
Think you are spot on about The Secret too.
