Wow go away for a few days and soooooooooo much reading to do to catch up. Glad to hear Mr B has sorted his undercrackers drawer.
Oh dear didn't have to google !!!!!! - not sure how I knew it certainly not from any personal experience!!!
MG if it would help I could try 'doing' Dundee - not a city I know at all but google is my friend. Hi everyone, this thread is fairly buzzing, I like the mix of busy and blethering :A.0 -
It's the sort of expression that, once heard, is never forgotten. I knew it too, Lord knows how!! Certainly not because anyone ever put me in that category!!It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0

Sadly I could probably quote you the whole of Pretty Woman word for word - one of my all time favourite films

Mrs Big was on the phone checking that I am OK - that the Mentors are not pushing me over the edge.
She says they usually work with men - and that those men usually have women at home taking care of them:D
So she was worried that because I'm on my own with the boys - and I have to be my own support network, that things might be piling up on me.
She also told me stories of when she and Mr Big were starting out - how everyone thinks he is a "self made man" but really it was the support of those around him that let him take flight and soar.
So I'm thinking that I seriously need to build a really strong support network, because this year is shaping up to be crazy.
So I've taken some time to pull a little order into my life. I've been online and done an Approved Food order of plenty of winter warmer foods, and theres a load of washing on, my sink is shined and I've asked my Dad to come over tomorrow to help me move some storage downstairs for the food when it arrives.
Still need to make a menu plan when the food arrives - but should have a rough outline for the next 4-5 months.
Made a list for LIDL run - the usual washing powder, dried cat food, tinned tomatoes, UHT milk and bread flour.
Also started a Christmas list - need to start collecting bits n pieces for the boys to make the holidays as stress free as possible.
Off to bed with my notebook - cos its getting chilly and theres no sense in putting the heating on for me.
Onwards and onwards

I think something out there got bored and decided to play a joke on me.
Gave myself a kick this afternoon and sent off the cheque for the study day and the finance form for the OU course.
Then I checked my email and found an invoice for the roof repair. OK I knew how much he had quoted and I knew it was ex-VAT, but I hadn't worked out how much the VAT would be .
Now not sure if I would have made the other commitments.
On the other hand (thinking as I type) it is right for me to do both these things and 'it' made sure I had committed myself before I saw the invoice.
(Please feel free to ignore the above ramblings, but I do feel better having turned my reaction around)0 -
Ooops but at least its also before VAT goes up again too0

Thats easy - I hold onto the cheque until you say so.
It only works if it works for everybody:D
